As is illustrated in the chart, significant changes have occurred in China's total express business volume and rural express business volume from 2018 to 2020. The total number is roughly 51 billion in 2018,64 billion in 2019 and around 83 billion in number of Chinese rural express packages in 2018 is 12 billion, while the number jumped dramatically to 30 billion in 2020.

What accounts for the increase? From my perspective, at least three factors contribute to the changes. To begin with,the availability of computers and smartphones is the foremost contributor and the rapid development of information technology enables nearly everybody to have access to the Internet. More importantly,the change is closely related to the rising income of the Chinese people, especially the residents living in rural areas. Finally, the changes are enhanced and promoted by the government's bettering policies as well as the more convenient channels in the e-commerce field.

With the development of China's economy and society, the rising trend is bound to continue for a couple of years in the far as I am concerned, it's a positive trend and should be encouraged.

Actually the girl stands for two different cultures-western and eastern cultures. Her charming smile is the essential touch of the whole picture, which symbolizes the harmonious blending of the two cultures. With economic globalization, the blending of different cultures has become a necessary trend of the times. On one hand, a large number of people from different countries have been pouring into China. On the other hand, Chinese people are also exposed to different foreign cultures when they go abroad or when more foreign people come to China. In this way, people from various nations in the world will be able to acquire better understanding of each other.

As far as I am concerned, I think this phenomenon is good to all of us. It is an effective way to achieve efficient cross-cultural communication and promote world peace and prosperity.

I think being very close to a pet can be both a positive and a negative thing. Healthprofessionals have concluded that having a pet is very healthy for everyone. People who haveheart disease or similar health problems are often urged to get a pet because it can lower yourblood pressure. However, some people get anxious about their pets. If you always worry aboutthe pet getting lost or not getting the right food to eat, then that isn’t healthy for you .

Many pets are very loving and it’s easy to love them back. Some people, though, go treat their pets like one of the family. Sometimes they even set a place for them at thetable or give them their own rooms in the house. They treat them as if they were pets are, in fact, substitutes for children. People need to keep their perspective abouttheir pets. Dressing a pet up in clothes like a child is not emotionally healthy. Pets are animalsand get confused if you expect them to act like human beings.

There are now stores devoted entirely to pets. They sell pet food, pet toys, pet clothes, pethomes. Pets should be given appropriate food, and they should have a few toys, since theyneed some enjoyment just like humans do. However, some pet owners spend hundreds ofdollars on supplies for their pets. There are children in the world who don’t have clothes or foodor toys. It would be better to give some of that money to charity.

Feeling close to your pet can be very satisfying and healthy, as long as you don’t overdo it.

In the cartoon we see a servant bringing a cup of coffee for the emperor. The joke is that the idea of emperor and the idea of coffee do not usually come together. It is funny to think of the emperor drinking coffee. But the cartoon may yet have another meaning. It implies that emperor, if he were still there today, would learn to drink coffee. Modernization is a historical trend.

China is a country with a long history. It has special traditions and customs. They are the nation’s great treasures which we should do our best to preserve. However, as China opens up to the world, more and more foreign ideas and products come into country. How we take this western influence and what relationship should be established between the east and the west have become urgent questions for us to answer. For example, should we allow a coffee shop to be opened in the Forbidden City, a place which is thought to represent the essence of oriental life? Can the coffee shop integrate itself into the surrounding or will it from an eyesore?

I believe that we should be open-minded about western influence. If it is good, we should not refuse it. A coffee shop in the Forbidden City will not pose an threat to our traditional culture. It will instead provide a convenient resting place for visitors who have to walk through the huge palace. The spirit of the 21st century is one of cooperation and coexistence. We should allow different cultures to exist together and flourish together.

This is a tremendously interesting and thought－provoking picture. From the left picture, it describes a young mother holding a little girl’s hand. However, when you look at the right part of the drawing, you will see another picture which stands in marked contrast to the right part: an adult female supporting an old mother’s with her hand. As is vividly shown by the picture, the issue of the aging population in China has become a major concern around our society, which is increasingly serious.

The picture is attempting to convey a thought-provoking message.

Filial piety has been advocated as a traditional Chinese virtue throughout history. In the first place, every step of a child’s growth, from birth to death, bears so much time and energy of the parents and above all, their unselfish love. So our parents rightly deserve our reward—love, respect, care and support. Whatis more, family relationship is very much like a mirror. If you smile upon it, it will smile back upon you. By treating our parents kindly, we will set an example for our sons and daughters and gain their respect and love in return.

In a word, it is our innate obligation to be filial to our parents.

关键句3：帮助措施所起的作用：一般是“成功完成了某事”、“获得了某经验”、“提供了某种能力”，比如“已经康复”、“已经成功申请到奖学金”、“取得了满意的成绩”等。

关键句4：如果没有对方帮助的后果：如果没有对方帮助，自己将无法完成某事。

周三，大课间的时候，小语来找我和小琪、小涵还有小然一起来玩拯救魔法城堡的游戏。我们五人分别扮演了5个角色，我扮演的是大姐，小琪扮演的是二妹，小涵扮演的是小妹，小语扮演的是我们三人的师傅，她当然最厉害了。小然扮演的角色是我们的敌人—黑暗之王。

很快我们就分成了两个阵营，小然是黑暗之王，那他肯定是一个人一队啦，我们四个是代表好人，当然是我们四个人一队啦！首先我们四个人聚在一起商量怎么才能打败黑暗之王，把他赶出魔法城堡，很快我们就想到了一个号办法，于是我们开始分工合作。

首先，我们派出小妹去引开黑暗之王的注意力；然后，派出二妹使出她的魔法来困住黑暗之王；接着，我也使出自己的魔法来帮助二妹一起困住黑暗之王；最后，我们的师傅小语出现，使出她最厉害的魔法。

黑暗之王没有想到我们会四人联手对付他，也没有想到我们四人有这么厉害，最终他还是被我们打败了，被我们赶出了魔法城堡。
